Gen z is the first generation to have their identity appropriated by people all over the world.

If the majority of the military stayed put wouldn’t it be wise to detain or execute personnel that wanted to defect? You wouldn’t want elite soldiers defecting?

I think understanding what Z is saying here; yes things aren’t great at the moment, but they could be much, much worse and frankly I think the worst is yet to come.

You can’t forget that the massive problem for these cities is logistics. Getting everything they need to keep the city and its inhabitants going. Those supply routes run through the rural areas of this country and if you think those routes wouldn’t be harassed by rural people you’re fooling yourself. Also, the Russian people weren’t armed, while people in rural areas overwhelmingly own weapons compared to those in urban areas. You’re way oversimplifying this into a numbers game. That’s the mistake the Union made against the south, don’t repeat it fool.

Good luck redrawing state lines around natural boundaries. Much of Southern California gets its water from central and Northern California already so there’s no incentive for California to balkanize. Balkanizing the western US would just cause old problems to become exasperated. Are the water rights along the Colorado River to going to be distributed equitably in this new arrangement or are these new states going to fight for what they’ve had before because they are the inheritors of the original entitlement? I’m going to love to see how our presenter’s home city is going to keep its water rights since their sources are outside his new state’s boundaries.

Cities are also filled with conservatives and most conservatives are more armed.

Their were elements of the confederacy that advocated for autocracy so while it may not have been fascist it is not unlikely to say that after a confederate victory that it could have become fascist or some form of authoritarian autocracy
